Term 3 - 6 : PE at Becket Keys during Covid

PE in lockdown at Becket Keys – Online curriculum

During the lockdown period PE lessons will be continuing as per the timetable. We will, therefore, be providing work for the students on a weekly basis. Work for physical education lessons has been published on the schools VLE system. It compromises of a variety skill or fitness related tasks which the students will complete at home. A reminder will be sent to the students via Satchel One on the day of their PE lesson. Additionally, students will be able to contact their PE teacher via Satchel One if they require any guidance or feedback.

We are also offering an extra-curricular provision for those who are passionate towards their health and fitness. The Race around the World challenge encourages students to log their exercise with the PE department. Students are able to either run, walk or cycle their way to fitness within this scheme. Distances are collated as a school, year group and form to generate a common goal of racing around the world together. Please follow our progress at #BKRaceAroundtheWorld.

For those of you who would like skill or game based extra-curricular activities the PE staff have been posting a variety of skill-based tasks via Twitter @BecketKeysPE for the students to continue to work on their sporting fundamentals.
